The world-renowned Swedish talents of design and hospitality are coming to Dubai – in a special celebration organised by Fagerhult and Lux.
As well as a smorgasbord of Scandinavian flavours prepared by top Swedish chefs, guests will have a unique opportunity to hear from human-centric lighting expert and director of the Fagerhult Lighting Academy, Henrik Clausen. A world-acknowledged authority on the subject, he will update us on the current state of the fascinating science behind human-centric lighting, and how it can be applied in real-life projects.
The exclusive party – taking place on the evening of Thursday 8 September in the Acoulite showroom at Media 1 Hotel in Media City, Dubai – will bring together the region’s leading lighting designers, consulting engineers and architects as well as Fagerhult’s global team of lighting specialists and Lux’s senior editors.
The keynote presentation will be followed by an after-party in the loft-style Q43 bar, where guests will toast the Swedish way with schnapps and traditional drinks.
On the afternoon of Wednesday 7 September, the company is holding a special roundtable summit and lunch at Capital Club, Dubai, where both associate and senior lighting designers will discuss issues in the design business. On Tuesday 6 September, you can catch Henrik Clausen’s presentation – How to work with human centric lighting – at the Future Interiors conference at the InterContinental Hotel in Doha. On the afternoon of Thursday 8 September, the roundtable discussion moves to Abu Dhabi.The party is just one of a series of Fagerhult events taking place that week.
