Lux Awards Will Be Hosted By The Comedian Alun Cochrane

Lux Review announced the awards shortlist last week and you can take a look at who will be in with a chance of winning right here.

Sitting just below the Emirates cable cars, which zip from one side of the Thames to the other, the hotel, with its views over the glittering Canary Wharf skyline, will make this year’s Lux Awards look and feel like no other.

Cochrane is renowned as a no-nonsense funny-man who specialises in hilarious verbal flights of fancy and he makes regular appearances on Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio Show.

The evening will take place in a brand new venue – The InterContinental London – The O2 on the Greenwich Peninsula.

The audience at this year’s awards will be kept in a jovial mood by a comedian has also appeared on Eight Out of Ten Cats, Mock The Week and Just A Minute on BBC Radio 4.

Cochrane is also an Edinburgh festival regular and he’s performed six original solo stand-up shows in the last seven years to critical acclaim.

It has been announced that this year’s Lux Awards will be hosted by the comedian Alun Cochrane.

The awards will be held on the 24th of November 2016 and this year the ceremony is transforming.
